The new spot, in the former 5th Quarter Pizza location where he once played pinball, features chef-driven smashburgers made with 100% short-rib patties, housemade buns, and customizable toppings like smoked pineapple and lobster. Burgers start at $9.50, with rotating weekly specials including smoked meats, loaded fries, and housemade desserts and drinks. Pereznegron, who began as a dishwasher and overcame a year-long recovery from back surgery, credits his wife Kathy Espinoza for supporting his journey. The restaurant emphasizes affordability, creativity, and homemade ingredients, marking a personal milestone in his culinary career.
