The CAQM lifted Stage II GRAP in NCR on Feb. 18, 2026, as AQI improved to 'Poor' due to rain and weather changes, with Stage I measures continuing.
The Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) lifted Stage II of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) in the National Capital Region (NCR) on February 18, 2026, after the Air Quality Index (AQI) improved to 214—classified as 'Poor'—due to favorable weather and recent rainfall.
The decision, based on a review by the CAQM Sub-Committee and forecasts from the India Meteorological Department and Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology, indicated air quality would remain in the 'Poor' to 'Moderate' range.
Stage I GRAP measures continue to prevent further deterioration.
