Brad Paisley will lead a tribute to late country legend Little Jimmy Dickens during the Grand Ole Opry’s 100th-anniversary celebrations on March 21, marking his 25th year as an Opry member.
Inducted in 2001 by Dickens, Paisley honors his mentor with performances by Bill Anderson, The Gatlin Brothers, Trace Adkins, The Oak Ridge Boys, and 49 Winchester.
Dickens, who died in 2015, was known for comedic hits like “Take an Old Cold ‘Tater (And Wait)” and “May the Bird of Paradise Fly Up Your Nose,” and influenced Paisley’s career, appearing in several of his music videos.
