Two teenage boys, aged 16 and 17 from Paducah and Calvert City, were arrested on February 17, 2026, in Marshall County, Kentucky, after allegedly vandalizing a veteran statue at Mike Miller Park.
Deputies responded to a report of an ATV in the park after hours, found the statue damaged with its head and hand broken off, and pursued the suspects, who were apprehended during a brief foot chase.
Both were charged with first-degree criminal mischief, second-degree criminal trespassing, and fleeing or evading police, and taken into custody at the McCracken County Juvenile Detention Center.
