Line 2 subway service between Woodbine and Broadview stations in Toronto resumed around 8:12 a.m. on February 17, 2026, after a 90-minute suspension caused by a fire during rush hour.
The TTC deployed shuttle buses and allowed passengers to use GO Transit at TTC fares at Kennedy and Main Street stations.
No details on the fire’s cause were released.
Meanwhile, Line 4 Sheppard will close entirely on February 22 for signal work, with shuttle buses replacing service and Bayview and Bessarion stations closed.
Regular service is set to resume on February 23.
