A Texas Jewish school received $28K from Epstein-linked accounts post-allegations, per DOJ docs.
A Texas Jewish boys' school, Texas Torah Institute, received three checks totaling over $28,000 from a Jeffrey Epstein-linked Virgin Islands account between 2008 and 2009, according to newly released U.S. Department of Justice documents.
The payments, made while Epstein was in prison and after public abuse allegations emerged, were signed by his accountant, Harry Beller, and not solicited by the school, which said it had no prior connection to Epstein.
The files also reveal similar payments to other schools, often labeled as tuition, but lack supporting documentation.
Epstein, who died in jail in 2019, was accused of sex trafficking minors.
