Veteran wide receiver Robert Woods, 33, has retired from the NFL after signing a one-day contract with the Los Angeles Rams, the team with which he played from 2017 to 2021 and won Super Bowl LVI.
He missed the playoffs in 2021 due to an ACL injury but was a key contributor during his prime, recording back-to-back 90-reception seasons and a career-high 1,219 receiving yards in 2018.
Drafted by the Buffalo Bills in 2013, Woods also played for the Tennessee Titans and Houston Texans.
Over 171 career games, he caught 683 passes for 8,233 yards and 38 touchdowns, with 514 rushing yards and five rushing touchdowns, mostly with the Rams.
He played in 10 playoff games, totaling 42 receptions for 449 yards and a touchdown.
Woods did not play in 2025 after being released by the Pittsburgh Steelers.
