The Jammu & Kashmir government is reviewing a proposal to raise the upper age limit for the Jammu & Kashmir Combined Competitive Examination, with the decision pending as officials assess examination rules, service needs, and recruitment practices.
Current limits, set in 2018, are 32 for open merit candidates, 34 for reserved categories and in-service applicants, and 35 for physically disabled candidates.
No changes have been finalized.
