IKEA plans to open a new store in Fort Collins, Colorado, in 2026, part of a nationwide expansion adding 10 new U.S. locations.
The Fort Collins store, at 4250 Corbett Drive in the Front Range Village Shopping Center, will replace a former Urban Air Trampoline Park and be about 64,000 square feet, significantly smaller than its Centennial location.
It will offer around 3,200 in-store items, kitchen and room planning areas, and the signature Food Court.
The company confirmed the new stores in Chicago, Tulsa, Los Angeles, and other cities will open during 2026, improving access for Northern Coloradans who previously traveled nearly 80 miles for the nearest IKEA.
Meanwhile, IKEA sold its Broomfield property for $50 million to UCHealth, which plans a major hospital and medical office complex with construction possibly starting this year and a 2029 opening target.
