Five indicted in Oregon-Washington theft ring tied to Portland store Card Rhino, which allegedly sold stolen goods online.
Five people have been indicted in a major retail theft ring tied to Card Rhino, a Portland secondhand store accused of knowingly buying stolen goods—often new-in-box items—from thieves and reselling them online for profit.
The operation, active since 2019 across Oregon and Washington, involved stealing from stores like Target and Fred Meyer, with authorities seizing over 31,000 items and $14,000 in cash and precious metals, valued at more than $300,000.
The suspects face 150 charges, including theft, money laundering, and conspiracy.
The store has closed, and more arrests are expected.
