Yahaya Shafa appointed acting Chief Registrar of Federal High Court, effective Feb. 17, 2026.
The Federal Judicial Service Commission has appointed Yahaya Yakubu Shafa as acting Chief Registrar of the Federal High Court effective February 17, 2026, succeeding Sulaiman Amida Hassan, who was elevated to the bench.
Shafa, a legal practitioner with over 18 years of experience, previously served as Executive Secretary of the Nasarawa State Judicial Service Commission.
The appointment, approved at the FJSC’s January 22 meeting, aims to ensure continuity and stability in court administration.
