Police responding to a disturbance found the teen with facial swelling, neck marks, arm bruising, and a cut on her nose, reporting she was choked for about 30 seconds, slapped, punched, and threatened with death. The accused, Tara Heine, was taken into custody, resisted arrest, and released on pretrial electronic monitoring with no contact with the victim. She is charged with aggravated domestic battery and three counts of domestic battery. The case remains under investigation, and the teen’s condition has not been publicly released. The next court date is scheduled for Tuesday.
