Three Texas men were charged in the fentanyl overdose death of 18-year-old Sierra Duckworth in Lufkin on Feb. 13, 2026.
Three men in Angelina County, Texas, have been charged with murder in connection with the fentanyl-related death of 18-year-old Sierra Grace Duckworth, who was found unresponsive at a Lufkin home on February 13, 2026.
Authorities say she and her boyfriend, Coy Allen Cook, 21, took blue fentanyl pills two hours before the emergency call.
Cook and Logan Wayne Ferguson, 19, told investigators they bought the pills from Roderick “Squirrel” Johnson, 25, at his Hudson residence, with text messages from Duckworth’s phone confirming the transaction.
Ferguson said he was present when she overdosed but left before police arrived.
After a search of Johnson’s home, deputies seized suspected fentanyl, marijuana, cash, and other evidence.
The Angelina County Sheriff’s Office and District Attorney Amy Wren’s office collaborated on the case, and additional charges may be filed as the investigation continues.
