Rajasthan's Agriculture Minister Kirori Lal Meena revealed widespread fraud in the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, with a Special Operations Group probe uncovering forged documents, fake farmer accounts, and false crop loss reports across multiple districts. The state identified over ₹128 crore in undistributed claims, including 32,000 irregular forms in Karanpur and 71 fake bank accounts linked to premium siphoning. Kshema Insurance was named as a key defaulter, and the state has requested the central government blacklist it. FIRs have been filed, and ₹122 crore is set to be released to affected farmers after hearings.
