Logan Paul's rare Pikachu Illustrator Pokémon card sold for $16.5 million at a Goldin Auctions event on February 16, 2026, breaking the world record for the highest price ever paid for a trading card, according to Guinness World Records.
The card, created by artist Atsuko Nishida for a 1998 contest, is one of only a few dozen known to exist, and Paul's copy is thought to be the only one graded a perfect 10.
Paul bought it in 2021 for $5.27 million, a record at the time, and displayed it at WrestleMania 38 in 2022.
The 41-day livestreamed auction, overseen by a Guinness adjudicator, concluded with venture capitalist AJ Scaramucci as the winning bidder.
