Indian President Droupadi Murmu attended the 2026 International Fleet Review in Visakhapatnam, showcasing India’s naval strength amid global participation.
President Droupadi Murmu arrived in Visakhapatnam on February 17, 2026, for a two-day visit to attend the third International Fleet Review, reviewing a fleet of around 70 ships from approximately 50 countries, including India’s INS Vikrant.
As Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, she participated in a 21-gun salute, flypast, and ceremonial guard of honor, with the event held alongside the MILAN naval exercise and Indian Ocean Naval Symposium.
The visit highlighted India’s growing naval influence and maritime diplomacy, drawing participation from over 135 nations.
She returned to Delhi on February 18 after attending a banquet, cultural events, and the International City Parade.
