In a February 16, 2026, interview, Ghana’s Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin revealed that former Assin Central MP Kennedy Agyapong gave him $5 million to save his business without a formal agreement, calling it a gesture of personal trust rooted in decades of friendship and shared community work.
