A woman is under investigation for allegedly stealing a school bus from Arbor Springs Elementary in Coweta County, Georgia, on February 9, 2026, during early morning hours while the school was closed.
Authorities believe she gained access without forcing entry, possibly using a key, and drove the bus nearly 40 miles to Temple in Carroll County before abandoning it undamaged.
Surveillance footage captured her inside the bus with a bag or purse visible on the front seat.
The Coweta County Sheriff’s Office is asking residents, especially in Temple, to help identify her and has released photos from the footage.
No injuries or motive have been disclosed, and the investigation remains ongoing.
