Ryan O’Neil Knight gained $150,000 from Brian Scudamore on "Dragons’ Den" for his eco-friendly detailing business, set to open a Hamilton franchise.
Brampton entrepreneur Ryan O’Neil Knight, founder of mobile detailing company Detailing Knights, secured a $150,000 investment from Brian Scudamore on “Dragons’ Den” in September 2024 for 25% of his waterless, plant-based business.
The company, launched in 2009 with his brother while Knight studied at Sheridan College, is set to open its first franchise in Hamilton.
Knight, a Brampton native, also founded the Afro-Caribbean Business Network (ACBN), a nonprofit supporting African and Caribbean entrepreneurs, which has expanded into community initiatives including a seniors’ affordable housing project in Woodstock, Ont.
He regularly shares insights on Newstalk 1010, advocating for entrepreneurship as a tool for community advancement.
