MG Motor India plans to launch six new electrified vehicles in 2026, including its first plug-in hybrid SUV based on the Wuling Starlight 560 platform, targeting the 13–18 lakh rupee range. The PHEV variant, expected by October, features a 1.5L petrol engine and 20.5kWh battery with 100km electric range and up to 1,100km total range, while the EV version offers 500km range with a 56.7kWh battery and fast charging. The models aim to bridge ICE and full EVs, with pricing competitive with the Tata Safari and Mahindra XUV 7XO, and will be sold through MG Select outlets.
