Organized under the Fit India Movement launched in 2019, the campaign promotes physical fitness, environmental sustainability, and healthy lifestyles through mass cycling.
Supported by Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports Mansukh Mandaviya and highlighted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his Mann Ki Baat broadcasts, the initiative has engaged over 25 lakh people across 2.5 lakh locations.
In Dehradun, over 1,000 cyclists joined a vibrant event featuring athletes like Arjuna Award winner Shakshi Punia and MMA fighter Pawan Mann, alongside former Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari, who praised the movement’s role in building a healthy, strong nation.
The event emphasized fitness as a daily habit, community engagement, and eco-friendly transportation.
