A crime series about a woman murder during a men’s curfew premieres on Channel 5.

The crime thriller series *Curfew*, based on Jayne Cowie’s novel *After Dark*, premieres on Channel 5 on February 16, 2026, at 9 pm. Set in an alternate reality where the Women’s Safety Act enforces a nightly curfew for men from 7 pm to 7 am via ankle tracking, the series follows police officer Pamela Green (Sarah Parish) as she investigates the murder of a woman found at the Women’s Safety Centre during curfew. The show, originally released on Paramount+ in 2024, explores societal tensions around gender-based safety laws. Alexandra Burke, who plays Helen Jones, has spoken about the moral challenges of her role, noting that certain scenes were revised after concerns about content. All six episodes are available on Channel 5’s streaming service from launch day.
