Country singer Mark Chesnutt canceled his Feb. 12 show in Alabama due to a sinus infection, postponing two more concerts amid ongoing health issues.
Mark Chesnutt cut short his February 12 performance at the Oxford Performing Arts Center in Alabama after only three songs due to a sudden illness, reportedly a sinus infection affecting his voice, according to his publicist.
The show was canceled, with ticket holders offered refunds or exchanges for a rescheduled date.
Two additional shows in Augusta, Georgia, and Smithfield, North Carolina, were also postponed due to ongoing health concerns.
While his current condition is described as minor and not serious, it follows a history of significant health challenges, including back surgery in 2023, a heart issue in 2024, and a near-fatal episode linked to alcohol use, from which he became sober in November 2023.
No new performance dates have been announced.
