The Assamese film *Adi Shakti*, directed by Bitupan Kashyap and produced by Ayra Studios, won three top awards at the Global Cine Confluence 2026 in New Delhi, including Best Feature Film, Best Original Story for Indraani Baruah, and Best Debutante Actress for Arshia Mahanta.
The film, which portrays a young woman challenging patriarchal norms, was recognized among over 4,000 entries from more than 60 countries, with 600 films competing across ten categories.
The event, held from February 13 to 15 at Bharat Mandapam and the India International Centre, brought together over 1,000 delegates and marked one of India’s largest international film gatherings, highlighting the growing global visibility of regional Indian cinema.
