AMD and TCS launch AI infrastructure in India using AMD Helios, aiming to boost national AI goals with scalable, sovereign data centers.

AMD and TCS, through its subsidiary HyperVault, have launched a collaboration to deploy AMD’s Helios rack-scale AI infrastructure in India, supporting national AI goals. The platform, using AMD Instinct MI455X GPUs, EPYC “Venice” CPUs, Pensando NICs, and ROCm software, is designed for sovereign AI factories to accelerate deployment and improve efficiency. A joint AI-ready data center blueprint supports up to 200 MW of capacity, aiming to speed up development across India with help from hyperscalers and AI firms.
