Two Atlanta areas cordoned off after unconfirmed incidents; fatal shooting at closed dental office reported.

A section of Sunset Avenue in northwest Atlanta and a residence on Peyton Place in southwest Atlanta were cordoned off Saturday night after police responded to separate incidents, with crime scene tape and officers present. The Atlanta Police Department has not released details about either event. Other developments include a fatal shooting at a closed dental office, a man shot by officers on I-20 in Douglas County, a former ICU nurse admitting to trafficking a minor, a family settling with a car dealership over alleged exploitation of an elderly man with dementia, and a woman reportedly transferring her home via quit claim deed with no compensation.
