Stalin warned against attempts to distort Tamil Nadu's cultural identity and the egalitarian teachings of saint-reformer Ramalinga Vallalar, linking the state’s welfare programs—like the breakfast scheme and elderly support—to Vallalar’s philosophy of infinite compassion.
He announced seven new initiatives in Vallalar’s honor, including a research center, memorial, training school, herbal garden, book publication, annual observance of his birth anniversary, and new food distribution centers.
Stalin also highlighted ongoing temple restoration, with over 4,192 completed and more than 12,900 projects underway at a cost of Rs 8,100 crore, reaffirming the state’s commitment to social justice and Vallalar’s values of love and equality.
