A Rochester man was charged with kidnapping, robbery, and assault after a failed drug deal led to a victim being abducted, beaten, and forced to send $150 via Cash App.
A 26-year-old Rochester man, Crestopher Komakic Joseph Lon Ogak, has been charged with kidnapping, robbery, and assault in connection with a February 5, 2026, incident stemming from a failed drug transaction.
The victim, a middleman who returned $1,500 after being unable to buy oxycodone, was forced into Ogak’s vehicle at a gas station and taken to Ogak’s home, where masked individuals beat him with a pistol, stole his belongings, and demanded a $150 Cash App transfer.
Blood evidence was found at the residence, and Ogak admitted to being present but laughed during questioning.
He faces multiple felony charges and was held on $1 million bail after his February 14 court appearance.
