A Rochester man pleaded guilty to attacking an amputee over money and a tax return, causing serious injuries.
A 21-year-old Rochester man, Tongol Pal Ruach, has pleaded guilty to first-degree aggravated robbery in connection with an August 2025 attack on an amputee man in a Central Towers apartment.
The victim, who lost teeth and vision in one eye, was beaten during a dispute over money and a tax return after Ruach was kicked out.
Police found blood and signs of a struggle.
Ruach, who claimed he had been financially supporting the victim, admitted to robbery and is awaiting sentencing in June with prosecutors seeking prison time.
