Over 30,000 LED lights shaped like Islamic geometric designs now light up London’s West End for the fourth year, celebrating Ramadan 2026 with “Happy Ramadan” messages that will switch to “Happy Eid” on March 18.
Organized by the Aziz Foundation and launched by Mayor Sadiq Khan, the display aims to promote unity and visibility amid rising Islamophobia.
Khan urged Londoners to stand together in solidarity, calling the city a symbol of inclusivity and urging compassion for those affected by global conflicts.
The lights, visible daily from 5 pm to 5 am, highlight Muslim traditions in public spaces and foster a sense of belonging.
