Kenya lowers fuel prices from Feb 15 to Mar 14, 2026, due to lower global costs.
Kenya's fuel prices have dropped for motorists, with super petrol falling to Sh178.28 per litre in Nairobi, diesel to Sh166.54, and kerosene to Sh152.78, effective February 15 to March 14, 2026.
The reductions, driven by lower global import costs—super petrol down 2.69%, diesel by 6.37%, and kerosene by 1.44%—follow earlier cuts in January.
Prices include a 16% VAT and adjusted excise duties.
The Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority said the changes ease household financial pressure and support economic stability.
The next review is set for March 14, 2026.
