The Delhi government has launched Bhu-Aadhaar, a digital land registry assigning a unique 14-digit number to every land parcel in the city to reduce disputes and fraud.
Using drone imagery and 2 terabytes of geospatial data, the project, led by the Revenue Department’s IT Branch with support from the Survey of India, creates geo-referenced records.
A pilot in Tilangpur Kotla generated 274 ULPINs.
