Born to Indian immigrant parents and raised in Chino Hills, California, Theegala turned professional in 2017 after winning the Collegiate Showcase at Riviera Country Club, where the 2026 event will be held from February 19 to 22.
He won his first PGA Tour title at the 2023 Fortinet Championship and is currently ranked 92nd in the Official World Golf Ranking.
