Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has requested central government support for a proposed Rs 1.92 lakh crore Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) connecting Thiruvananthapuram to Kasaragod, following state cabinet approval on January 28, 2026.
