Uluu’s Field of Light, a solar-powered art installation inspired by native wildflowers, marks its 10th anniversary at Ayers Rock Resort in Australia, where it has drawn over 750,000 visitors since its 2016 debut. Originally a temporary exhibit, the artwork featuring 50,000 illuminated stems now spans seven football fields on Aangu Country, a site of deep cultural significance. To celebrate, the resort hosted a new Melbourne mural by Aangu and Wurundjeri artists, VIP events with creator Bruce Munro, Q&A sessions, and dining experiences using native ingredients. The anniversary also highlighted Indigenous-led experiences like Wintjiri Wiu and Sunrise Journeys, reflecting the installation’s lasting cultural impact and global influence.
