Twelve-year-old Indian karting champion Rivaan Preetham became the first Indian to join Minardi Management, paving his way to global racing.
Twelve-year-old Indian karting star Rivaan Dev Preetham has become the first Indian driver to join Minardi Management, the agency linked to the historic Formula 1 team Minardi, ahead of his move to Spain for the 2026 Champions of the Future Academy series. The milestone follows his three consecutive Indian National Karting Championships in the Micro Max category and historic wins at the FIA Motorsport Games in Valencia, where he became the first Indian to claim a race victory. He also earned India’s first top-10 finishes at the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals. Rivaan, who completed a training camp in Bengaluru, will now pursue a global racing development pathway with support from MSport and sponsors Redbrick Constructions and Sankar Group.
