Telangana CM Revanth Reddy urged central funding and approvals for multiple rail and airport projects in New Delhi on Feb. 12, 2026.
Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy met with Union ministers in New Delhi on February 12, 2026, urging faster progress on key infrastructure projects.
He requested full central funding for the Krishna–Vikarabad railway line, offering to cover land acquisition, and pushed for construction of high-speed rail corridors to Chennai, Bengaluru, and Pune, proposing Shamshabad as a tri-junction hub with 500 acres of land.
Reddy also sought rail links to Machilipatnam Port and Amaravati, and requested immediate approvals for new airports in Mamnoor, Kothagudem, Anthargam, and Adilabad, noting completed land acquisition and offering additional land for Adilabad.
The central government affirmed support for several initiatives.
