A 41-year-old Kentucky woman, Amber Back, was arrested after a package containing 100 OxyContin pills hidden in Lego pieces was intercepted at Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport on February 5, 2026.
The package, sent from Poland and addressed to Back in Mt.
Sterling, was delivered to her home by police on February 6, leading to her detention.
Though Back claimed she was unaware of the drugs and said another woman had received packages at her address, investigators found messages on her phone discussing the sale of pills.
She is charged with trafficking a controlled substance, released on a $5,000 bond, and scheduled for arraignment on February 26.
Authorities say the investigation is ongoing and more arrests may follow.
