A bus operated by SBS Transit caught fire on Singapore’s Pan Island Expressway near the Clementi Road exit on February 13, 2026, around 11:45 a.m., producing thick black smoke and engulfing the vehicle in flames. The Singapore Civil Defence Force extinguished the fire using two water jets, with no injuries reported as the bus was unoccupied. Emergency crews and traffic officers managed the scene, blocking at least three lanes and causing congestion. The cause is under investigation, and the Singapore Police Force has been involved. This follows a similar bus fire in October 2025.
