A Brisbane kitchen hand was charged with attempted murder after attacking a waitress with a knife on Feb. 13, 2026, following a ban from the club.
A 33-year-old kitchen hand at Brisbane’s Easts Leagues Club was charged with attempted murder and stalking after allegedly attacking a 20-year-old waitress with a carving knife on February 13, 2026. The man, Cameron William Leslie Clark, had been barred from returning to work earlier that day due to unwanted attention. He returned hours later, attacked the woman in a hallway, causing serious injuries to her arm and head requiring surgery, and was subdued by up to eight staff members, including a 61-year-old chef who was also stabbed. A 41-year-old woman sustained a minor injury. Clark, who remains hospitalized, faces additional charges related to two other alleged victims. The case was adjourned after his court appearance.
