Alexandria Frank, 31, of Ohio, indicted for stealing $150K from a childcare center via fake employees and forged checks.
Alexandria Frank, 31, of Milford, Ohio, has been indicted on multiple fraud charges after allegedly stealing over $150,000 from a Tri-State childcare center over two years.
Prosecutors say she created fake employees using real people’s identities, forged payroll checks, and diverted funds into her personal accounts, using information from former employees to pay herself.
The scheme, uncovered when a new treasurer found financial discrepancies, involved more than 50 forged checks and 130 fake transactions.
If convicted, she could face up to 30 years in prison.
Clermont County Prosecutor Mark Tekulve emphasized the seriousness of the crime, particularly given the center’s role in caring for children.
