NBA suspends Pistons' Stewart 7 games, Bridges and Diabaté 4 each, Duren 2, after Feb. 9 brawl.
The NBA suspended Detroit Pistons forward Isaiah Stewart for seven games, Charlotte Hornets forwards Miles Bridges and Moussa Diabaté for four games each, and Pistons center Jalen Duren for two games following a brawl during a Feb. 9 game.
The incident, which occurred in the third quarter after a defensive foul, led to multiple ejections and a lengthy delay.
Stewart’s suspension was extended due to his history of unsportsmanlike conduct, including five prior suspensions.
Duren, an All-Star, is expected to play in the upcoming All-Star Game.
Bridges and Diabaté will return on Feb. 24.
The league also fined Atlanta’s Mouhamed Gueye and Minnesota’s Naz Reid $35,000 each for a separate altercation.
