On February 11, 2026, the National Investment and Infrastructure Fund (NIIF) exited its entire 1.92% stake in Ather Energy through block deals on the BSE and NSE, selling about 73.3 million shares at ₹710 each.
The transaction, valued at roughly ₹521 crore, was acquired by a group including Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, Société Générale, Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, Tata Mutual Fund, and Indian insurers and mutual funds.
The move follows Ather Energy’s improved financial results, with its net loss narrowing 57% year-on-year to ₹84.6 crore in the December quarter, driven by higher sales, better pricing, and increased software revenue.
The company reported record quarterly deliveries of 67,851 units, up 50% from the prior year.
Ather Energy’s stock closed at ₹715.95, down 1.53% on the BSE.
