UK bans Disney's *Predator: Badlands* poster for violent imagery deemed harmful to children.
A UK advertising regulator has banned a Disney poster for the 2026 film *Predator: Badlands* due to its graphic, violent imagery, including a severed figure with exposed spine and a menacing alien.
The ad, displayed in Glasgow, was deemed likely to frighten and distress children despite Disney’s claim the figure was a robot and the film’s 12A rating.
The Advertising Standards Authority ruled the depiction was too realistic and disturbing for public outdoor display, breaching rules on harm and offense.
Two parent complaints prompted the investigation, and Disney acknowledged the decision, reaffirming its commitment to responsible advertising.
