San Diego County’s new dashboard tracks homelessness data, showing a 7% drop since 2024, with 9,905 people homeless as of Jan. 29, 2026.
San Diego County has launched an interactive dashboard offering real-time data on homelessness, tracking outreach, housing programs, and service outcomes in unincorporated areas.
The tool, introduced by the Office of Homeless Solutions, aims to boost transparency and public engagement.
Since 2017, the county has invested $334 million in affordable housing, creating over 3,300 homes and adding 527 permanent supportive units, with 2,700 more in development.
The latest Point-in-Time Count, conducted January 29, 2026, found at least 9,905 people experiencing homelessness—down 7% from 2024, with a 14% drop in the city of San Diego.
The full results are expected this summer to support funding efforts.
