A Rasmussen poll shows Biden leading Trump among likely voters, 48% to 40%, with growing skepticism about Trump’s "golden age" claim.
A Rasmussen Reports poll released February 10, 2026, found 48% of likely U.S. voters believe Joe Biden was a better president than Donald Trump, compared to 40% who favor Trump.
Fifty-eight percent said the country is not living in the “golden age” Trump promised, up from 52% in January 2025.
Trump’s job approval stood at 43%, with 56% disapproving.
The poll, conducted Feb. 2–4 among 1,094 voters with a ±3-point margin of error, showed younger voters favor Biden by 18 points.
Rasmussen’s head pollster, Mark Mitchell, said Biden would likely win if an election were held today.
The results, from a traditionally Republican-leaning firm, surprised analysts and highlight growing voter skepticism despite administration claims of economic progress and border security gains.
