Rajasthan's 2026-27 budget, presented by Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari, aims to advance 'Viksit Rajasthan' with a focus on infrastructure, employment, education, and emerging technologies like AI.
Key plans include Rs 6,800 crore for tap water access in 6,500 villages, Rs 3,000 crore for solar parks, 42,000 km of roads, 250 Atal Pragati Paths, and 300,000 new water connections under the 'Har Ghar Nal' scheme.
The budget allocates Rs 1 lakh crore for capital expenditure, creates 4 lakh jobs, offers interest-free loans up to Rs 10 lakh for youth, and provides e-vouchers for digital devices to meritorious students.
Industrial growth will be driven by new tech hubs, inland container depots, and 3,600 hectares of land in Jodhpur-Pali-Marwar.
The state also plans to expand the Rajasthan Foundation with 14 new international chapters.
