A 35-year-old Ohio woman, Tiffany Le Sueur, was charged with child endangerment after allegedly injecting what hospital staff believe to be feces into her child’s IV line at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus on February 6 and 8.
Surveillance footage showed her entering a bathroom with a cup and using a syringe to inject a substance into the child’s IV.
Hospital staff reported the incidents, leading to her arrest.
Le Sueur appeared in court, was granted bail with restrictions, and faces a preliminary hearing on February 19.
The child received immediate medical treatment, and the investigation remains ongoing.
