A man in his 20s was killed in a violent carjacking at a Sunoco gas station on Detroit’s west side early Tuesday morning around 4:30 a.m. Police say the victim, a regular at the store known for his kindness, was attacked after returning to his Jeep to find a 25-year-old suspect inside.
The suspect allegedly assaulted him, drove over him multiple times, and fled before being apprehended about a mile away following a chase involving Detroit and Michigan State Police.
