On February 10, 2026, BRP-Rotax made history when pilot Luke Czepiela flew a CubCrafters Carbon Cub UL powered by a 160-hp Rotax 916 iS engine along the full racing line of the Bahrain International Circuit, becoming the first to do so from the air.
